SISTEMA TRIPLEX® is a high aesthetic value corrosion protection for steel products, commonly known as iron, and metal structural work.

Unprotected steel degrades rapidly showing the formation of corrosion and/or rust. SISTEMA TRIPLEX® allows maximum freedom of design ensuring perfect corrosion protection combined with a high level aesthetic finish. SISTEMA TRIPLEX® can be applied to all manufactured products made of carbon steel, commonly called "iron" with maximum dimensions of 13,000x2,000x3,200mm, or 13,000x2,200x1,600mm and a maximum weight of 2,000 kg/piece.
SISTEMA TRIPLEX® can be used in all environments: the standard version can be used in natural, urban and industrial areas.
Special versions are designed for use in marine and off-shore environments or for heavy industrial uses.
Some of the most common elements treated are: gates, fences, railings, beams, roofing structures, storey buildings, pergolas, gazebos, as well as finished products such as lamp posts, litter bin posts and street furniture. View some application examples in the section "Projects".

It is based on the perfect combination of SIGILLO VERDE® hot-dip galvanising and POWDER COATING by means of an intermediate nano-ceramic layer in order to obtain a film with high anti-corrosion performance and exceptional aesthetic qualities.
The three phases comprising the SISTEMA TRIPLEX® were completed thanks to the use of nanotechnologies: a zinc bath specifically designed to be painted, a pretreatment which is perfectly compatible with the zinc alloy and the special paints which have been for the zinc based support. A complete cycle which is interconnected at every phase to ensure adhesion of the film of paint to the metal. An essential process to achieve an excellent finish

The SISTEMA TRIPLEX is performed in a Category 1 zinc bath according to EU standard EN 24286, the only one that allows us to preserve all the mechanical characteristics of steel and weld seams otherwise to be verified, as required, according to EU Standard EN 1090.
The SISTEMA TRIPLEX is performed using EMAS approved systems, the European environmental management regulation, and has an Environmental Product Declaration EPD.

The SISTEMA TRIPLEX® is an anticorrosion protection and aesthetic finish cycle which exploits hot-dip galvanising and powder coating technologies.Nord Zinc has coined the SISTEMA TRIPLEX® brand name to identify the technological achievement of scientific research supported by chemical and paint multinationals:
- The Nord Zinc zinc bath is specifically designed to be painted.
- The nano-ceramic chemical treatment before painting is designed to couple perfectly with the zinc alloy that generates the zinc bath designed by Nord Zinc.
- The paints used are specially formulated to be applied to hot-dip galvanized supports.
The SISTEMA TRIPLEX® allows you to achieve exceptional life expectancy.
It is necessary to distinguish corrosion performance from aesthetic performance.
In a natural environment (e.g. the countryside) the life expectancy of the corrosion protection is well over 120 years, whilst in an urban environment, the protection expectancy is over 100 years (extracts from the Environmental Product Declaration EPD).
The paint film, intended as colour and gloss, has a life expectancy of from 10 to 25 years depending on the performance level required by the customer.

SISTEMA TRIPLEX® must be performed at the Nord Zinc spa facilities. It can not be done on-site and it is therefore necessary for the product manufacturer to deliver the parts to the facilities for processing.
