Solvent and VOC-free

The powder coating process, solvent-free, allows you to achieve a homogeneous thickness of film over the entire element.

The paints used are designed to withstand atmospheric agents and UV rays, the main cause of fading colours.

Guaranteed paint adherence

The secret of the paint adhesion lies in the pre-treatment. In the SISTEMA TRIPLEX® systems, the pre-treatments are constantly monitored and are performed automatically. Something that can not easily take place in manual mode and on worksites.

Where you can use it

SISTEMA TRIPLEX® can be applied to all manufactured products made of carbon steel, commonly called "iron" with maximum dimensions of 13,000x2,800x200mm, or 13,000x2,500x1,600mm and a maximum weight of 2,000 kg/piece.
SISTEMA TRIPLEX® can be used in all environments: the standard version can be used in natural, urban and industrial areas.
Special versions are designed for use in marine and off-shore environments or for heavy industrial uses.
Some of the most common elements treated are: gates, fences, railings, beams, roofing structures, storey buildings, pergolas, gazebos, as well as finished products such as lamp posts, litter bin posts and street furniture. View some application examples in the section "Projects".

What does it consist of

It is based on the perfect combination of SIGILLO VERDE® hot-dip galvanizing and POWDER COATING by means of an intermediate nano-ceramic layer in order to obtain a film with high anti-corrosion performance and exceptional aesthetic qualities.
The three phases comprising the SISTEMA TRIPLEX® were completed thanks to the use of nanotechnologies: a zinc bath specifically designed to be painted, a pretreatment which is perfectly compatible with the zinc alloy and the special paints which have been for the zinc based support. A complete cycle which is interconnected at every phase to ensure adhesion of the film of paint to the metal. An essential process to achieve an excellent finish In technical jargon this coupling is called a duplex system.

Sustainability

The SISTEMA TRIPLEX® is performed in a Category 1 zinc bath according to EU standard EN 24286, the only one that allows us to preserve all the mechanical characteristics of steel and weld seams otherwise to be verified, as required, according to EU Standard EN 1090. The SISTEMA TRIPLEX® is performed on EMAS registered plant, the european environmental management audit scheme, and has the Environmental Product Declaration EPD.

What is the life expectancy of the SISTEMA TRIPLEX®

The SISTEMA TRIPLEX® allows you to achieve exceptional life expectancy.
It is necessary to distinguish corrosion performance from aesthetic performance.
In a natural environment the life expectancy of the corrosion protection is well over 120 years, whilst in an urban environment, the protection expectancy is over 100 years (Environmental Product Declaration EPD).
The paint film, intended as colour and gloss, has a life expectancy of from 10 to 25 years depending on the performance level required by the customer.

The Nord Zinc zinc bath is specifically designed to be painted.
The nano-ceramic chemical treatment before painting is designed to couple perfectly with the zinc alloy that generates the zinc bath designed by Nord Zinc.
The paints used are specially formulated to be applied to hot-dip galvanized supports.
